Building a successful business is one of the most challenging things you can do.
You’ve got an amazing product, a top-draw service and you work incredibly hard to get to the top of your industry.
But have you considered if your video and photo marketing materials are making your business look cheap and nasty?!
To save on costs, businesses often cut corners when producing video or photo content. Often opting to make it themselves, or asking someone cheap and inexperienced to do it for them.
They often don’t realise just how low-quality video marketing is costing them.
When people see your video marketing content, it’s often the first impression they will have of your business.
If they see a cheap, low-quality video they are going to relate that to the quality of your products or services. Whether you like it or not.
They’re also going to be comparing you with your competitors. So if your competitors are putting out better content than you, that’s hugely damaging.
You might not see it, but your clients can. This is called Video Blindness.
IT’S LOSING YOU SALES
Cheap video marketing content will do more harm than good and lose you sales.
Think about it. If you landed on someone’s website and it was outdated, clunky and ugly – would you hire that company? Probably not.
The same goes for your video content.
IT TELLS YOUR CUSTOMERS YOU DON’T CARE
Remember, you’re not producing video marketing for yourself, you’re making it for your customer.
Your marketing content is all a part of your customer’s experience.
So if you’re putting out poor quality content, that’s either badly lit, bad audio or just looks shoddy, you’re telling your customer that you don’t care about their experience.
It’s like showing up to a client meeting in a creased shirt and scuffed shoes.
And if your competitors are putting out polished, engaging content while you’re using shaky self-shot footage, what does that say about your brand?
Customers do notice, even if you have gone a bit “nose blind” to it. Want to fix it? Let’s talk.
